 wednesday 23rd 1860

dear mum and dad 

hi i have safely and badly sailed from england to New zealand. the journey was horrible because

i could not sleep it was also dusty and filthy and the food was ulfull

when we got to lyttleton we had to walk two and a half days. i was so exhausted. my kids

have to have to help me clean my 2 daughters have to help me clean the house.

and my 2 sons have to chop the wood and go hunting for our dinner

Seed Dissecting

Hi on Thursday my inquiry group did something fun! We dissected  seeds. First we opened the seed coat.We had some different

seeds we had pine nuts, corn seeds, lima beans, pinto beans and 

chickpeas. After we peeled off the seed coat. After that  we opened the food supply of the seed and tried to find the embryo and we found lots of embryos and i enjoyed it.
